Ceviche verde
Ceviche verde is a traditional Peruvian dish that originates from the coastal regions of Peru. In this dish, raw fish, in this case Yellowtail Kingfish, is marinated in lime juice, allowing the acids to gently 'cook' the fish. The marinade is combined with a green sauce of cucumber, coriander, and jalapeño, which gives the dish a fresh, spicy flavor. -

Som tam
Som tam, a famous dish from Thai cuisine, is a spicy papaya salad that originates from the northeast of Thailand. The salad consists of young, unripe green papaya mixed with bold flavors such as chili peppers, fermented mushroom sauce, lime juice, and peanuts. Dried shrimp are also added for extra umami flavor. -

Peanut soup
Peanut soup, made from ground peanuts, broth, and sambal, is especially popular in Suriname. The dish is often served during holidays and special occasions because of its nutritiousness and the unique flavor provided by local spices. We have chosen to serve the soup with roasted coconut. -

Japanese hotdog
The Japanese hot dog is a creative example of fusion cuisine, in which the traditional American hot dog is combined with unique Japanese ingredients. The chicken hot dog is topped with wasabi mayonnaise, yakitori gel, and furikake, a versatile Japanese seasoning mix of sesame seeds, seaweed, and dried fish. -

Orange chicken
Orange Chicken is a classic American-Chinese dish that became popular in Chinese restaurants in the United States. The dish consists of crispy pieces of chicken glazed in a sweet and sour sauce with a pronounced orange flavor. This combination of crunchy texture and sweet, citrusy sauce makes it a beloved comfort food. -

Taco con gobernador
Tacos are perhaps the most iconic dish from Mexican cuisine and originally come from the indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica. In this version, soft tortillas are used, which are traditionally made from corn, and filled with shrimp marinated in chipotle. -

Elote
Elote, or Mexican grilled corn, is a beloved street food throughout Mexico. The corn cob is grilled over an open fire, caramelizing the sugars in the corn and giving it a delicious smoky flavor. The corn is then coated with a mixture of mayonnaise and crème fraîche, sprinkled with Tajín, a spicy chili powder with lime, and grated pecorino. -

Cannoli
Cannoli are Sicilian sweets that originate from ancient Sicily. The dish consists of crispy, fried pastry rolls filled with a creamy filling of sweet ricotta, often mixed with vanilla, chocolate, or candied fruits, and in this case pistachio cream. Tip: garnish the cannoli with powdered sugar. -

Pastel de nata
Pastel de Nata is a traditional Portuguese delicacy, consisting of a crispy puff pastry crust filled with a silky custard filling. These small, sweet tarts are lightly caramelized when baked, resulting in a delicious combination of creamy and crunchy textures. -
