Johan van Uden won the prestigious Gouden Slagersring (Golden Butcher's Ring) twice for best product innovation, becoming the youngest participant ever to do so. Johan also became only the third person ever to win the title of 'Branche-erkende Meesterslager' (Industry-Recognized Master Butcher). Together with six other butchers in the Netherlands, he safeguards this title and teaches people about the butchery profession.
