We deliver throughout the Netherlands (with the exception of the Wadden Islands). Our refrigerated delivery costs are €6.90 (excluding €3 service fees).
Please note: on Sunday, April 20, we will charge an increased delivery fee of €19.80 due to the national holiday. You can also choose to have your meal delivered on Saturday, April 19 for €6.90 and eat it on Sunday evening.
A small number of exclusive restaurants use a private "priority delivery service". This service costs €29.
The delivery fees we charge cover the refrigerated pickup from the restaurant and ensure that your meal is delivered to your home under optimal conditions. You will be continuously informed of the status of your order. In addition, we work with a specialized courier service that transports each meal with the greatest possible care and attention.

Sardines a la Antigua OrtizOrtiz
These sardines from Ortiz are caught in Galicia. They are prepared according to a traditional recipe from 1824. Hence the name "a la antigua." Ortiz uses very fresh fish (3-4 pieces in a tin) which are then fried in first-press oil. After resting for a few minutes, they are packed by hand. Preserves like sardines and bonito are actually just like good red wine; they get better with age. -

Anchovies are a refined flavor enhancer that appears in all kinds of cuisines. Except for some pizzas and in salade niçoise, they are rarely eaten pure, more often processed, for example in sauces. The thoroughly Basque company Ortiz first cures the anchovies with coarse sea salt, after which the fish matures in wooden barrels for four months. Then they are washed by hand, cleaned, carefully filleted, and preserved in oil. The result: exquisite deep pink fillets that blush at you when you open the tin. They have a salty, umami character and can provide a boost to many sauces (or butters) for fish, meat, and vegetables. -

Bonito del Norte in olive oil
Bonito del Norte is white tuna (the Thunnus alalunga, which is also called albacore tuna) from Spanish Basque Country (Vizcaya). Fortunately, this beautiful tuna species is not yet on the list of endangered species. This albacore is caught by Ortiz's fishermen only in the right season in the Cantabrian Sea, which lies on Spain's northern border. The fishermen use line and hook. Only specimens of at least four kilos may be called Bonito del Norte. -
